If you ever read "Michael Porter - On Competition" or "Henry Mintzberg - The Strategy Process", the this book may be superfluous. Some misleading examples are there too. For example the thing with Honda or Toyota. They only could entered the US market because they had reduced their production costs in Japan and therefore had upgraded their production systems (R&D). Honda especially had real problems at the beginning and it was more luck than a "Blue Ocean Strategy".Still, there are some useful advices in the book, therefore you should read it.
